Life Transition, Grief and Loss

Life transitions, whether expected or sudden, often bring with them a profound sense of grief and loss. These changes can manifest in many forms:  the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or even a major shift in one’s career or health. Each transition marks the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another, which can unsettle our sense of stability and belonging, leaving us to grapple with feelings of uncertainty, sadness, and fear. The familiar routines and roles that once defined us are suddenly disrupted, leaving us to grapple with a new reality that may feel daunting or even overwhelming.
